Today we celebrate the global Fringe movement, its artists, festivals, audiences and communities.
If ever someone could be described as a stalwart, it was Howard Loxton, who passed away on 22 June at the age of 92. His knowledge, generosity and unfailing fairness made him one of the most respected voices, and he will be greatly missed by colleagues, readers and the wider theatre community.
